Make suggestions for new maps/removal of current maps in this thread.
Hey, I enjoy playing on your 1v1 server. It is 128 tick, players are better than average, cheaters usually get banned pretty quickly. But there are some maps that are plain awful and every time they get picked I'm forced to leave the server and play elsewhere as it is an utter waste of time. I'll write the maps that are terrible that I can remember off the top of my head and I'll give a reason for why it's like that. Hopefully at least some of these removal suggestions will be enforced. I have plenty of experience in playing 1v1, and I have a relatively high ELO on your servers and GE rank in MM. Not saying I'm the best but I do think I understand what makes a good map.
Maps that should be removed:
People want to practice their aim in 1v1 aim maps, obviously, and this map just doesn't provide the layout for that. There are several tight angles that you just have to hold and tap when you see an enemy. And then whether you're going to win ro lose is determined randomly because the AK is not even close to 100% accurate on that distance. This map is random, doesn't reward skill nor is it challenging your aim.
The entire map literally has only like 3 or 4 angles that you can take. That makes it a prefire fest, literally the best way to play this map is to prefire your opponent. It is not based on skill, it's not challenging your aim, it's purely luck. It should be removed.
3. am_dust2_cat and am_dust2_cat_32final
am_banana is bad because it has 3 or 4 angles, well this map tops that shit straight up with only having 1 angle. Everyone hates this map, it's not skillflu at all, and every time it's played I can see people begging in chat to rock the vote for the new map. Please remove this, it's terrible.
4. am_inferno_mid32 and am_inferno_mid_neogear
Once again, not really an aim map. It's a "hold an angle map". I can understand why it would make sense to put a part of the map in an aim map, the idea is to train playing that part of the map, but you have to understand that it's a lot different ingame. In a real competitive game, a CT might peek mid, try to get a pick based on surprise factor, and if it fails the CT will usually retreat. But here that's not an option, so CT is in a terrible disadvantage and it's just not fun to play, there's not any cover and there's only 1 angle which makes for terrible gameplay and doesn't require actual aiming skill. It's just boring.
Same thing, boring 1 angle situation.
It's not an aim map, it's "who will shift walk for a longer time while their oppoentn loses patience and starts running". Most of the gameplay turns out to be players walking around the pyramid trying to find each other, and then you die from a random angle that you're not going to beat in a 1 000 years because you can't cover an entire pyramid and it only depends on who get luckier on the peek.
There might be more bad maps but these are undisputedly the worst and I'm sure many players would appreciate them being removed.

It would be appreciated if you reconsider replacing the other suggestions in the future; I am almost 100% certain that the vast majority of players hate de_dust2 short 1v1 map.

I have a suggestion for some maps you can add to the map pool, here is a list of maps that would be very nice for our server. I tested them offline with bots and they seem to be well designed for a fair 1v1.

I got some maps that I(/the community) wants to be removed from the map list as they are unbalanced, have glitches/exploits or not well designed in general.
I'll start with:
I suggested this map a few months ago, but because of the map design, you can't rush each other, so when it's a knife fight you just have to stare at your opponent, and second of all you can instantly wallbang your opponent at the start of the round if you have an AWP. The fastest to wallbang wins.
This map is way too small, too bright, and is (completely) blue. Not suited for a good 1v1 experience.
We already have am_aztec2015, it's an almost identical map.
Almost only headglitch. "Nobody" plays this map without headglitching. Most maps with a ramp are poorly designed because of the "glitch".
This is one of the most hated maps in this community. It only has 1 spawn point, you have to wait for some "doors" to open before being able to fight and because it has only 1 spawn point you have to look to 1 direction only, and the map is a tad bit too dark.
This map is really dark, it has a ramp, and you can instantly spawn kill according to each other's spawn.
The map is too big, mid section is useless, too many places to hide/camp. Sometimes you don't encounter your opponent before time ends because of how big this map is.
This map is small. There are 3 ways to counter each other. You most likely take the wrong way and keep running after each other without encountering one another. and it has ramps. :)
Also one of the less liked maps in the community. The map is dark, has weird ways to see each other, easy to camp and has a tunnel which is weird to fight thru.
This map is "big" for nothing. You can't see your opponent until you rush onto the ramp. If you both rush, you are really close to one another for a normal fire fight. Easy for people to camp (especially with an AWP) so when you "rush" he'll easilly kill you. There is a tunnel in the middle section that is useless except for campers.
Most people fight from the ramps which only causes people to headglitch and is kinda "big" that makes it easy to camp.
Has a house in the middle that leads to losing your opponent and sometimes you keep searching for him/her. People can camp inside the house, or outside behind a tree that makes you "invisible" but you can easily see your enemy.
Tries to replicate Dust2's B site experience, but because of the spawns it's easy for the one who spawn inside the site to sneak or hide, and has only 2 places to look. But the one who spawns outside has to clear every single corner which is not fair, and not supposed to be in a 1v1 map.
Map is big, has many places to be on the sides. And the you can see thru the "covers". Some covers expose the legs completely, and others expose his body or head, and the mid section is useless aswell.
last but not least
This map is not really bad, but it has a few headglitches. Some boxes are "broken"and you can go thru the box in the middle.
I might have forgotten a few negative things about a few maps, but I hope what I said is enough.

I'll add am_siege to this list, this is one of the maps I forgot, and this is one of the worst 1v1 maps. This map is just huge in general with way too much cover and different levels. It's not suited for a normal 1v1 map.
