TF2 Roll The Dice Tweaks

    I could be stretching it with ideas on improving the servers, but I thought of some fixes to certain RTD effects that won't affect gameplay. Even if it won't be implemented due to how difficult it probably is to tweak the mod enough to change the effects, I'm leaving this here anyways. Here are some I can think of:

    • Godmode: Instead of golden sparkles around the user, you could instead replace it with a purple aura, with the UI having a faint purple aura around the edges of your screen. It's less intrusive and it's more of a giveaway that the person has godmode rolled (even if it only applies to admins).
    • Toxic: The red cloud tends to get in the way of vision sometimes, so instead replace it with a very faint green cloud that doesn't obscure vision. A small white skull icon could also be added above whoever rolled it, and those that are being affected will have a green skull above them. Also, instead of taking health by chunks, Toxic could instead rapidly decrease the health of whoever is being damaged by it by 10/s in 1 damage increments. Think of it as a fast timer in a video game, only for your health.
    • Drugged: Never liked the concept of drugged, so I have an actual replacement. Instead, you could use Drunk. Drunk randomizes the movement inputs and makes the screen slightly blurry.
    • Powerplay: Severely overpowered, so I have a tweak with a new name: Tip The Scales. It runs like Powerplay, but it has double the duration, but keeping how long Powerplay is active. The latter half of the effect leaves the person weakened, taking more damage and losing 1/3rd of their max health.
    Not related to RTD, but I also figured that the !friendly command would deserve some tweaks of it's own:
    • Instead of an ugly dark purple hue, give friendlies a lush green color/aura, and give them the ability to join both spawns. Of course, they can only still turn friendly off in their own spawn to avoid spawncamping.
    • Make them go through any other person without clipping issues. Friendlies do get stuck in enemies.
    • Make them be able to use their primary weapons, only they won't work on those who aren't friendly.
    If anyone wants to add to the discussion and nitpick on other effects that seem like they'd be better with some tweaking, feel free. Let's see what the community wants.

    Great ideas and colorful suggestions about the RTD plugin.
    However we need a SourceMod developer for this in order to change/tweak the rtd system.

    Incase you have another plugin with link you can link it and I can check to see if it is suitable.
    Other than that sadly we'll have to wait for a SourceMod developer to apply :Ab:

    For now, I believe our current RTD needs an update. There's a version with a bunch more effects that may enhance the playability of the servers until we can get our hands on a Sourcemod developer.

    Logically, yeah the RTD effects you proposed are really good IMO, I know a bit of SM coding, but nothing too impressive with that said coding,
