Context:
I was recently in a UGC trade server while on call with one of my friends who will not be named. We were having a nice time until suddenly, she was banned for spawncamping (1 hour). I was not able to see this first hand, but we noticed that she wasn't warned -at least, that's what we thought!- After writing and submitting an appeal, I get a message on discord from the staff member who banned her (who also will not be named). In this message, there was one detail that completely invalidated the appeal that was submitted, A trimmed picture depicting an in-game chat message from the aforementioned staff member; a warning. After confirming that the warning was issued before the hour long ban, I informed my friend that it wasn't a false ban, and that now you just gotta wait an hour...
Suggestion:
I was thinking that since neither of us even noticed the warning at all until it was pointed out to us in an isolated picture, that Staff should use csay* or a kick as the warning, rather than using voice or text chat. (especially since players can disable both of them and never see the warning at all) As a secondary suggestion... I suggest to revise or add a note to the Punishment Guidelines stating specifically that the warnings should be issued using csay or through a kick with the reason as the warning.
*The term csay was used by a staff member I was conversing with, which I assume to be the customizable text near the top of the screen that an staff member can place.
