For a while, I have seen MvM (Mann versus Machine) rise in popularity, and after trying it, it was worth the hype. There are a few servers that currently have very few players, which we could change to instead host a community MvM server.
For the server, we could:
I do think a fully flushed out MvM server could bring more attention to UGC (which could also lead to more profit, and more servers + gen 2 in the future).
We could also use this server for smaller scale TF2 events in the future too, since it could be used as a "casual but competitive" server for people who like MvM.
For the server, we could:
- Use custom missions/maps with difficulties that could be set by players through voting
- Allow for fun amplifiers (rtd, weapon randomizer, Halloween spells) via voting
- Have a higher player limit than normal MvM
